【Program】
Nodame Cantabile is a Japanese manga series by Tomoko Ninomiya. It has been adapted as TV series, anime series and movies. A special feature of this work is that it weaves classical music into the plot neatly. The original manga series published from 2001. In 2006, the work was adapted into a live-action TV drama and received great success. It also made classical music a popular culture in Japan at the time. Nodame Cantabile has been in the 20th anniversary since its first publish.
Kaohsiung City Wind Orchestra presents a concert featured classical compositions from the work. Accomplished musicians including clarinet player Wei-Leng William Chen, saxophone player Chih-Huan Wu, and violinist Geoffrey Yeh will perform as featured soloists in the concert. Join us in the concert hall, and enjoy the charm of classical music.
