Russian Myths and Legends

【Program】

The KCWO presents its first concert of the year, Russian Myths and Legends, featuring classic works by Shostakovich and Rimsky-Korsakov. Led by conductor Wang Chan, the KCWO will take you from a passionate opening to the fantastical and mysterious symphonic poems. Clarinetist Hwei-Chi Yang and oboist Akris Hung will be the featured soloists. Together they will bring to life the national history and mythology as interpreted by Russian composers. Join us to experience enchanting, magical stories and the modern epics through music.
