Chien-Sheng Chang

Trombone

A native of Chiayi, Taiwan, with a Master's degree in Trombone Performance from the Musikhochschule Lübeck in Germany.
Studied under Michael Ranzenberger, Thomas Bender and Joachim Preu.

Early Musical Training
Joined the wind band at Chiayi High School and was introduced to trombone playing by teacher Cheng-Hsuan Chien.

Bachelor's Degree
Graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Music from National Kaohsiung Normal University, studying under Professor Chih-Sheng Tien.

Music Competition Achievement
During university, won the First Prize for Trombone Solo in the National Student Music Competition for the 107th academic year.

Internship Experience in Germany
Served as an intern with the Philharmonisches Orchester der Hansestadt Lübeck from 2023 to 2024.
