Piccolo

Chung-Lin Lee is an active performer and flute teacher in southern Taiwan. He is currently the piccolo player of the Kaohsiung City Wind Orchestra and an adjunct assistant professor in flute at the National University of Tainan. He is a winner of 2011 NFA Graduate Research Competition on his dissertation about Kazuo Fukushima’s solo flute works. He is also the co-author of the creative fife method series, “The Little Fifer”. Lee holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in flute performance as well as Graduate Certificate in Music Theory from the University of Washington, where he studied flute with Prof. Donna Shin and Dr. Sarah Bassingthwaighte. His other teachers included Mioa-Ling Chou, Yee-Ting Chen, Cheryl Gobbetti-Hoffman, Zart Dombourian-Eby and Robert Dick.
