Hsin-Yu Lin

Percussion

Hsin-Yu Lin, born and raised in South Taiwan, is a Kaohsiung-based percussionist. She earned her Master’s of Music in percussion performance from National Kaohsiung Normal University, and has shown her fond of music by actively involving in various types and genres of musical performance settings, such as percussion ensemble, theatrical music for percussion, mixed chamber music, not to mention symphony orchestra and wind ensemble.

Her marimba duo with Ms. Chun-Yi Ho has been selected to compete in semi-final of the 2013 Universal Marimba Competition in Belgium. She is also a long-term member of Throbbing Elements Percussion Ensemble and Kaohsiung City Wind Orchestra.
