Yi-Hsin Weng, a native of Chia-yi, Taiwan, received her DMA degree in clarinet from the University of Colorado at Boulder and Master’s degree from the University of Akron. She studied with Daniel Silver, Kristina Jones-Belisle, Daniel McKelway, Pei-Yun Lin and Cheng-Hua Huang. Weng is now a member of Chia-Song Ensemble and Kaohsiung City Wind Orchestra. She is also the adjunct assistant professor of National Tainan University and teaches clarinet in several music schools and wind bands in Chia-yi.
