Ying-Chen Chang

Percussion

Ying-Chen Chang received his Bachelor of Music degree from National Chiayi University where he majored in percussion under the tutelage of Sung-Yee Chu. He studied percussion performance at National Detmold Music College in Germany as a visiting student from 2009 to 2010.

Mr. Chang is currently a member of Kaohsiung City Wind Orchestra and Throbbing Elements Percussion Ensemble, and he teaches for percussion sections of the Art Talented Classes in Chien-Chin Primary School, Nanzih Primary School, and Jhong-Jheng Elementary School in Kaohsiung and Houjia Junior High School in Tainan. He also coaches the percussion sections of the bands in Chongming Elementary School and Yuwen Elementary School in Tainan, and the percussion sections of Kaohsiung Commercial High School Band. In the meanwhile, Mr. Chang serves as the conductor as well as the coach of the percussion ensemble of Sancun Elementary School in Tainan.
