Clarinet

Fang-Yu, Kuo, a native of Taiwan Chiayi City , began her study of music at the age of 6. She got the bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in music department from National Sun Yat-Sen University with Dr. I-Chun, Chen. Winning the Concerto Competition Award in 2012 and 2014 as well as the Special Award several times during school years.

2004-2009｜First prize in clarinet performance at Chiayi City Second prize in National Student Competition of Music

2012｜Performing W. A. Mozart Clarinet Concerto with NSYSU music department orchestra

2013｜Joining NTSO Youth Orchestra as the Principal Clarinet

2014｜Performing A. Copland Clarinet Concerto with NSYSU music department orchestra

2015｜Invited to many concerts with Taiwan Soloists Symphony Orchestra, Taiwan Artists Symphony Orchestra, Evergreen Symphony Orchestra and Kaohsiung City Wind Orchestra

Now a member of Kaohsiung City Wind Orchestra, and a coach of the clarinet in schools.
