Rhapsody of Taiwan
【Program】
On this island, sound and memory are closely intertwined. Composer Yuensuo Yang traveled through temple festivals, mountain towns, and harbor markets, composing a rhapsody of Taiwan.
He transformed these inspirations into nine compositions, weaving together folk rhythms and modern vocabulary, allowing the music to reflect the warmth of the land and the pulse of the times.
Rhapsody of Taiwan is a symphonic poem dedicated to this island. It allows us to hear our voices, and the kindness and hope within them.
