Chiu Hsiu-en

Trumpet

Graduated from the Department of Music at Tunghai University, majoring in trumpet.

She studied under teachers Ho Yu-kuan, Chang Yung-shun, and Hsu Jung-fu. During she studies, she frequently performed with the university’s orchestra and wind ensemble.

Currently a trumpet player with the Kaohsiung City Wind Orchestra, NTSO Taiwan Youth Symphony Orchestra, NTSO Taiwan Wind Ensemble, Changhua Youth Wind Band, and the Blooming Brass Quintet .

She participates in numerous ensemble performances, teaches trumpet in music classes and wind bands at various schools in central Taiwan, and actively performs while continuing to promote music education.
